A training for educators designed to advance environmental literacy in South Carolina
Welcome! The Palmetto Environmental Education Certification (PEEC) program is South Carolina’s first environmental education (EE) professional certification designed for both formal and nonformal educators.
The mission of PEEC is to foster and empower a professional environmental education network to promote environmental literacy in South Carolina, and by achieving the PEEC certification, educators will be equipped with the skills and knowledge for effective EE throughout the state.
Improved skills, increased understanding of EE, and networking with professionals across the state are just a few benefits of being a certified through the PEEC program.
